Who we are
Canterbury Fine Foods Ltd (company number 15878157, registered in England and Wales) is the controller of the details you send us through this website. Registered office: 11 Goose Farm, Shalloak Road, Canterbury, Kent CT2 0QE. Email [email protected] or call 01227 459929.
What we collect, and why
| When | What | Why, and our legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| You send the contact form | Your name, business name (if given), email address, phone number (if given), your message, and your answers about the kind of place you run, what you need most and how often you order | To reply to you and, if you ask, set up a trade account. Legitimate interests (answering your enquiry) and steps you ask us to take before a contract. |
| Anyone uses the form | A short, scrambled code made from your internet address, kept for up to an hour or two | To stop the form being used to send spam. Legitimate interests (keeping the website and our mail safe). The code cannot be turned back into your address. |
We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not use the details you send for marketing.
Who handles your details
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores form enquiries in a database in the European Union.
- Postmark (Wildbit, LLC, United States) delivers the email that tells us about your enquiry. International transfers rely on its standard contractual clauses.
- Our own staff read your enquiry. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep website enquiries for 12 months, then delete them (the clean-up runs each time the form is used). If you become a customer, we keep the details we need for the account under our normal business and tax record rules, which are separate from this website.
Links to other sites
Ordering happens on Fresho, in our apps (App Store and Google Play) and on Google Maps when you ask for directions. Those services have their own privacy policies, and nothing from them loads on this website until you choose to follow a link.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, delete or restrict the details we hold about you, and you can object to how we use them. Email us at the address under “Who we are” and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
